The majority of us are raised with a little thing called morality. It’s these morals that communicate with our brains when presented with an opportunity to do something that may be considered right or wrong, and generally prohibits us from doing the latter. Apparently one slot machine player has failed to integrate such scruples into his everyday life.
As first reported by UK media outlet, The Daily Mirror, a man was caught on security surveillance camera defecating on the slot machine floor, not once, but twice. Now we can all pretty much agree that ‘when you have to go, you have to go‘, but is taking a break from slot machine play to make use of the facilities provided really so difficult?
You can view the CCTV video of the pokies playing punter taking a poo below (courtesy of The Daily Mirror), but be warned, it is not for the faint of stomach.
Maybe he was having a great run at the slot machine? Or perhaps he failed to hit any winning combination in a long time, and was certain the big win was just a spin away? Who knows what was running through this abhorrent man’s head when he dropped trou and emptied his bowels on the gaming floor.
As the video clearly shows, the slot machine player was having an ordinary run at the gambling amusement in the beginning. Moments later, he appears to begin doing what many of us (especially parents) refer to as “the potty dance”. This particular maneuver is typically made when a person has an incredible urge to urinate, crossing their legs and moving about in awkward motions to prevent them from doing so prematurely. In this case, however, the repugnant offender was holding in an axiomatic ‘Number 2’.
Instead of following moral protocol and making his way to a public restroom, the slot machine player simply walked a few steps back, squatted in the corner and relieved himself right then and there. One might assume that his venture into the corner was to avoid the prying eyes of surveillance cameras, but that theory is destroyed moments later when—after returning to the slot machine—he lowers his pants once more; this time just enough to spit out another nugget onto the floor. Worse yet, he didn’t even bother to squat or stop playing the slot machine.
Coincidence or Developing Trend?
Nauseatingly, the man’s slot machine defecation is not the only story of such revolting nature to hit headlines in recent weeks.
On June 19, a New Jersey man was arrested at Parx Casino in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania after he urinated on a slot machine. It’s not certain what motivated the 53-year old man, identified as William Robert Compton, to relieve himself into the machine’s coin dispenser, but refusing to leave the establishment and resisting arrest got him a permanent ban from all Parx Casino properties and a nice long stay at the Bucks County Correctional Facility.
On June 1, a woman said to be in her 30’s was browsing the aisles of the B&M Bargain store in Southport, England when security cameras caught her stepping into an aisle to take an unceremonious poop in the floor between to clothing racks. Once done, she returned to her shopping as if nothing had happened. When staff later found the disgusting bowel movement, they said it was hidden beneath more than £40 worth of infant clothing.
